Due on 11/15/11:
* Reading for Reading Log: 30 minutes daily. Write it down on your Reading Log!
* Plan for your 3-paragraph essay on your favorite season by doing the following:
A--> Choose the 3 "categories" you will use for your 3 paragraphs. [Samples we discussed were (1) weather/environment during that season, (2) activities in the life of your family during that season, and (3) holidays and special events during that season. You are not limited to these. Feel free to use any categories you like. Just identify them.]
B--> Brainstorm the things you would like to discuss in each of those categories. List at least three things for each category (that is at least nine things total).
C--> Write one or two good, descriptive sentences for each of the nine items you listed in Part B.
You DO NOT need to go ahead and write the essay. Just complete all of the above preparatory work for your essay. If you want to go ahead and write the essay, that is fine.
