1) Visit this page* from the class website and review the basic rules governing possessives, which we discussed briefly today in class. Take notes, noting especially the examples that are given. Write down at least ten things in your notes that will help you with this tricky area! (I will give you a homework grade on these notes on Tuesday.)

2) I will send a class email containing a handout entitled “Working with Agreement – Past and Present Tense” for you to print and complete as directed. (Hopefully this is the very last time I will send you something that will have to be printed at home!) 

3) Do some extra reading in your Reading Log book if you have any extra time. This is a tricky month with all the days off.

+ Read your (approved) book for pleasure, aiming for 30 minutes daily. Mark the number of minutes on your Reading Log as you go along—in multiples of five, rounded down—and have a parent initial it in the box each day. The November Reading log is due on Thursday, November 29.

+ Continue to print out each homework blog entry, check off each assignment as you complete it, and have your parent sign the completed, printed sheet. Bring it to class each day.
