Due on 2/16/10:
* Continue to do assigned reading and mark your Reading Log. You are aiming for 20 minutes daily. Be sure to keep marking the list of books, and let me know when you need a new one. Your current Reading Log will be due, signed by your parent, on the last class period of the month.
* Please do all revisions for the D4 I returned to you in class Thursday, and email that to me as soon as possible on Friday.
* Each time you add a couple of scenarios (or a page or two of text), please email the paper to me as well. For homework, you need to do all revisions and add several scenarios to your story. Please complete as many as you can on Friday and email your paper to me before the weekend. I will email you back and you can continue with more of your story over the weekend or on Monday.
* I am excited to read what you come up with! Your stories are really getting exciting.
* Please feel free to email me with any questions you have about how your story is proceeding, how to format your paper on the computer, etc.
NOTE:
When you email me your newest, most complete draft of your paper, I will check the formatting and make sure the margins, line spacing, header (student name) and footer (automatic page numbering) are properly formatted.
It is becoming clear to me that some of you are double-spacing your paper by actually hitting return twice at the end of each line. This is not true double-spacing, and will make it difficult whenever you try to do revisions, since the changes you make in your lines of text will throw off the rest of the lines. Once your paper is formatted to double-space, it will do it automatically and you can just type and type without paying attention to the end of the lines.
I will be happy to help you with this formatting.
