Due on 2/11/10:
* Continue to do assigned reading and mark your Reading Log. You are aiming for 20 minutes daily. Be sure to keep marking the list of books, and let me know when you need a new one. Your current Reading Log will be due, signed by your parent, on the last class period of the month.
* Please choose either a setting or character so far presented in your story and write a good descriptive paragraph about that place or person. Use the sample paragraph by J.R.R. Tolkien that you had for copywork as a model. You should not try to advance the plot at all. Just break into your storyline - smoothly, of course - with a good, enhancing paragraph.
(1) Write our your paragraph to turn into me during class on Thursday.
(2) Type your paragraph into your newest, most complete draft of your story. Email it to me, and print out a copy to bring to class.
(3) Be sure to bring your manilla envelope of drafts of your story (Toluwani and Rey, you do not have one of these yet, as we made them while you were absent) and that you have all drafts of your story that have been graded by me so far. Bring them all to class Thursday.
