* Continue to do assigned reading and mark your Reading Log. You are aiming for 20 minutes daily. Your current Reading Log will be due, signed daily by your parent, on the last class period of this month, 9/30/10.
* Complete the handout identifying examples of similes, metaphors, and personification.

Guidelines for Typed Compositions

• double-spaced word processing document

(only final draft will be single-spaced)
• standard 1-inch margins
• 12-point Times New Roman font
• standard indentation for all paragraphs
• no extra lines before or after paragraphs
• header: name, class, assignment, date
• footer with automatic page numbering
• length requirement varies by assignment
