HW from 9/9/10

Due on 9/14/10:

* Return your signed paper, along with a check made out to Laurie Sitterding for the $20 library fee and $5 book rental (if applicable).

* Go to the class website and send me an email from within it, using the "Contact Mrs. Sitterding" link.

* Together with your parents, choose a book for your Reading Log reading. Mark your Reading Log for any reading you have done since last class. Remember that you are aiming for 20 minutes daily. Your current Reading Log will be due, signed daily by your parent, on the last class period of this month (Thursday, 9/30).

Guidelines for Typed Compositions

• double-spaced word processing document

(only final draft will be single-spaced)
• standard 1-inch margins
• 12-point Times New Roman font
• standard indentation for all paragraphs
• no extra lines before or after paragraphs
• header: name, class, assignment, date
• footer with automatic page numbering
• length requirement varies by assignment

Here is a sample header:

To send a paper to MarkUp:

* Include an extra blank page at the end of your document for me to write comments on when grading!

* Email the document as an attachment to LauraSitterding@MarkupSync.com

Note: If the document you attach is saved as a Word doc or PDF file, no formatting will be lost. Other formats may not import properly, and some may not import at all.

* Be sure your Word document is properly formatted like all out typed papers are, and that you've included the proper header.

* Be sure your name and the name of the assignment are in the subject line of your email and in the name of the saved document.
