HW from 11/9/10

Due on 11/11/10:
* Continue reading for Reading Log: 20 minutes per day. (Log is due, signed by parent, at the end of the month.)

* Bring your signed grade card and signed parent sheet back to me tomorrow. You will keep the parent sheet for your parents; I just want to see that they saw it.

* Revise and correct your season essay. Bring a typed copy to class or email it to me. If you get an email back saying I printed it, you don't have to print another copy. If you don't, please bring a copy to class.

Guidelines for Typed Compositions

• double-spaced word processing document

(only final draft will be single-spaced)
• standard 1-inch margins
• 12-point Times New Roman font
• standard indentation for all paragraphs
• no extra lines before or after paragraphs
• header: name, class, assignment, date
• footer with automatic page numbering
• length requirement varies by assignment

Here is a sample header:

To send a paper to MarkUp:

* Include an extra blank page at the end of your document for me to write comments on when grading!

* Be sure your Word document is properly formatted like all out typed papers are, and that you've included the proper header.
