HW from Tuesday, 1/22/19

Due on Thursday, 1/24/19

1) Your first installment of the mystery story—the goal is five full pages—is due on Thursday. Label this section D1 and put the date of 1/24 in the header. Include your signed, proofread draft on the bottom and your corrected lovely draft stapled on top.

NOTE: Your story will not be complete at this point. You will just turn in the first five pages. 

2) Continue memorizing your chosen Scripture memory verse (Titus 2:11-14 or Ephesians 4:29-32). I will give extra credit to those who are ready to recite it this Thursday or next Tuesday. It is DUE to be recited next Thursday, 1/31. This gives you a week to commit it to memory. Practice, practice, practice using the techniques on the handout we discussed.

Also, daily:

+ Read your (approved) book for pleasure, aiming for 30 minutes daily. Mark the number of minutes on your Reading Log as you go along—in multiples of five, rounded down—and have a parent initial it in the box each day. The January Reading Log is due on Thursday, January 31.

+ Continue to print out each homework blog entry, check off each assignment as you complete it, and have your parent sign the completed, printed sheet. Bring it to class each day.
