Due on 3/19/13:

* Pray for Gloria and her family as they walk through the pain of Ian's death.

* Decide the following things about your next story and write your choices on a piece of paper, to be turned in on Tuesday.  Number your responses and use complete sentences.

1) Which point of view will you write your "theme" story in (first or third person)?

NOTE: Third person is much more common and much easier to do well.  Do not choose first person unless you're confident you can do it well. 

2) Will you write your "theme" story in past or present tense?

NOTE: Past tense is much more common and much easier to do well. Do not choose present tense unless you're confident you can do it well. 

3) What theme would you like to illustrate in your "theme" story?

* Practice delivering your selected recitation poem from memory.  Be sure you are comfortable with the memorization and are reciting the poem with confidence and expressive delivery. You will be reciting it to the class after the KEYS spring break.  

* You should be prepared to recite any of the three memory verses at any time (Psalm 141:3, Titus 2:11-14, and Ephesians 4:29-32).  You might choose to review one verse each day so that they stay fresh in your mind.

* Reading for Reading Log: 30 minutes daily. (Reading Log is usually due, signed by parent, at the end of the month.  This month it will be due on Thursday, March 28--the last day before Spring Break.)
