Due on 3/7/13:
* Review the elements of narration in preparation for the next story you will be writing. Be ready for a quiz on the elements of narration (especially the most recent one studied, plot) on Thursday.
* Work on memorizing your new memory verse (Titus 2:11-14 or Ephesians 4:29-32). You should all review daily such that you are prepared to recite any of the three memory verses at any time.
* Begin memorizing the poem you have selected for recitation, if it has been approved. You will be reciting it to the class after the KEYS spring break.
* Be thinking about the next story you want to write. Specifically, consider:
- What theme might you like to illustrate?
- Which point of view will you write in (first or third person)?
NOTE: Third person is much more common and much easier to do well.
- Will you write in past or present tense?
NOTE: Past tense is much more common and much easier to do well.
