HW from 2/21/12

Due on 2/23/12:

* Read your (approved) book for pleasure 30 minutes daily. Mark it on your Reading Log!

* Complete any work you have missed and not turned in yet. (Check with me if you are not sure about what you may have missed.)

* Make a Scripture memory card (or equivalent) for your final verse of the four we are memorizing. (See list below.)

* Review one Scripture memory verse each day to keep them in your mind. You should be prepared with all three of your Scripture memory verses (I Chronicles 29:11-13,Philippians 4:4-8, and either Titus 2:11-14 or Ephesians 4:29-32) at any time!

* Analyze the following poem and note its rhyme scheme. After you have noticed all patterns pertaining to this poem, please write a third stanza in the same form. Be prepared to turn this in tomorrow.

My Evening Prayer by Charles H. Gabriel

If I have wounded any soul today,
If I have caused one foot to go astray,
If I have walked in my own willful way--
Good Lord, forgive!

If I have uttered idle words or vain,
If I have turn aside from want or pain,
Lest I myself should suffer through the strain--
Good Lord, forgive!
