HW from 2/23/12

Due on 2/28/12:

* Read your (approved) book for pleasure 30 minutes daily. Mark it on your Reading Log!

* Complete any work you have missed and not turned in yet. (Check with me if you are not sure about what you may have missed.)

* Begin to memorize your final verse of the four we are memorizing. (See list below.)

* Review one Scripture memory verse each day to keep them in your mind. You should be prepared with all three of your Scripture memory verses (I Chronicles 29:11-13,Philippians 4:4-8, and either Titus 2:11-14 or Ephesians 4:29-32) at any time!

* Analyze the William Blake poem and note its rhyme scheme. After you have noticed all patterns pertaining to this poem, make a memory card. This is the first poem you will be required to memorize and recite. Memorize the poem.

The Lamb (by William Blake)

Little Lamb, who made thee?
Dost thou know who made thee?

Gave thee life, and bid thee feed
By the stream and o'er the mead;
Gave thee clothing of delight,
Softest clothing, woolly, bright;
Gave thee such a tender voice,
Making all the vales rejoice?

Little Lamb, who made thee?
Dost thou know who made thee?

Little Lamb, I'll tell thee,
Little Lamb, I'll tell thee:

He is called by thy name,
For he calls himself a Lamb.
He is meek, and he is mild;
He became a little child.
I a child, and thou a lamb.
We are called by his name.

Little Lamb, God bless thee!
Little Lamb, God bless thee!

* Note that you do not have to do any correction on your mystery story this weekend. Enjoy!
