HW from 4/3/12

Due on 4/5/12:

* Read your (approved) book for pleasure 30 minutes daily. Mark it on your Reading Log.

* Be prepared at any time with all your memory work, which consists of:
+ four Bible verses (I Chronicles 29:11-13, Philippians 4:4-8, Titus 2:11-14, Ephesians 4:29-32)
+ the poem you selected to memorize and recite to the class
+ the William Blake poem "The Lamb"
+ the first stanza of the Barry Cornwall poem "The Sea"

* We will continue class recitation of your selected memorized poems on Thursday. You will be chosen by random drawing. Be sure you are ready if your name is chosen!

* You should have the rhyme scheme for each of the poems in the poetry packet. Be sure you have written out the letter pattern next to the title of each poem.

* Scan second and third sheets of the poetry packet, giving the rhythmic foot/feet for each of the poems. (You should already have done the poems on the first sheet of the poetry packet.)
